POSITION DESCRIPTION

POSITION: Test Engineer

LOCATION: Sydney Office – Seven Hills & Colo

REPORTS TO: Facility Manager

EXPERIENCE AND/OR QUALIFICATIONS:

Tertiary Qualifications in Electronic and Communications
Two years experiences working in a testing Laboratory or Electronics repair

General Computer Literacy

FUNCTIONAL OVERVIEW:

EMC Technologies will provide their customers the highest standard testing using the most up to date test methods and ensure that we constantly meet or exceed our customer’s expectations.

POSITION PURPOSE:

Testing to Australian and international EMI/EMC standards.

AUTHORITY LEVEL:

Perform testing in accordance with the documented EMI/EMC test procedures.

Report faulty or suspect test equipment to the Branch Manager Sydney and arrange for there repair

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Testing to National and International Standards
Construct and repair of in-house test equipment
Maintenance of the test facilities, in a clean and orderly state including grass cutting
Liaise with customers with regard to product testing
Ensure safe working conditions are observed at all times
Ensure all test are completed in accordance with EMC’s documented procedures
Maintain accurate job records and time keeping
