Exit the Western Highway at the Gisbourne/Bacchus Marsh turnoff. (this is the second Bacchus Marsh exit)
Turn right and cross over the western highway
Follow the Bacchus marsh - Gisbourne Road towards Gisbourne. Go through the roundabout.
- Bakery & shops are located at this roundabout
Cross over the Lerderderg River bridge, the next road on the left is the Lerderderg Gorge Road
Turn left at the Lerderderg Gorge Road (there is also a sign "MacKenzie Flat Picnic Ground)
Continue on the Lerderderg Gorge Road, make sure you veer to the left at the intersection with Camerons Lane
Follow the road to the padlocked gate at the public car park of the Mackenzie Flat Picnic Ground
The sign on the gate reads "Keep clear at all times" This is the VIC Parks gate
- Please ensure the gate is closed behind you
- If the gate is locked call;

Cross over the concrete river crossing, the gate in front is the entrance to EMC Technologies OATS,
- Please close the gate behind you.
Follow the gravel track up to the Open Area Test Site, which is the building to the right of the house
PLEASE BEWARE OF BLIND CORNERS AND OBSERVE SPEED LIMIT
