LOCATION

Our Sydney Labs are located in the suburb of Seven Hills about 30km west of the city. A number of motels are located close by in Seven Hills and surrounding suburbs. Alternatively, visitors to Sydney can stay in the city and enjoy a quick journey along the Western Highway to the lab in the morning.

Our OATS, located in the picturesque Colo River Valley near the country township of Upper Colo, is within an hours drive of the Seven Hills Labs.

ACCOMMODATION

Visitors to Sydney may choose to stay close to the Lab in Seven Hills.

Alternatively, there is the wide choice of city accommodation available in the CBD should you wish to take advantage of Sydney's tourist attractions.

TESTING CAPABILITY

EMC Technologies Sydney
has
NATA accreditation for all the major European Emission and Immunity standards.

Our testing is accredited by TUV Product Services and is accepted for CB (Competent Body) certificates or on TUV PS certificates. We also offer a range of safety testing. Contact us for details.

One of the test chambers at the Seven Hills Hills Lab is a fully accredited IEC1000-4-3 compliant semi-anechoic chamber. The OATS in the Colo River Valley near Upper Colo is less than one hours drive north west of our Labs.

Remember, unlike some test labs, EMC Technologies provides NATA endorsed reports for all the Australian C-tick standards and Generic Immunity standards.

EQUIPMENT PROFILE

We possess a wide range of test equipment allowing rapid and accurate assessment of compliance to EMC Directive requirements. eg. IEC1000-4-2 ESD gun, IEC1000-4-4 Electrical Fast Transient Generator and coupling clamp, IEC1000-4-5 Surge Generator and an IEC1000-4-11 programmable dips and interruptions source.

Melbourne, Sydney and Auckland implement automated testing using control software developed in-house. This provides for consistency and repeatability across the company. Coupled with our range of spectrum analysers and EMI receivers, emissions and susceptibility testing is quick and efficient.

UPPER COLO OATS

Sydney's Open Area Test Site (OATS) is less than an hour from the Seven Hills Lab which means less travel time and more testing time.

Extremely low ambients allows for testing without the need for shielded room prescans. Again, less time wasted and more time for testing.

OATS FACILITIES

The OATS test van is air conditioned with mains power and telephone. A microwave oven and coffee and tea facilities are provided.

Access for big trucks transporting large equipment is via sealed roads with a clear approach to the ground plane.
