FCC Recognised Testing Available at Brisbane

EMC Technologies (EMCT) is pleased to announce that their Brisbane laboratories have been accepted by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) of the USA for the testing of electronic devices to FCC Part 15 Rules for certification and approval purposes. EMCT's Brisbane facilities fully comply with the FCC requirements for verification or certifications testing. Local testing means great savings in time and money for Queensland manufacturers who have previously had to travel to Melbourne or Sydney to FCC test sites. EMCT's EMI testing is performed in accordance with FCC Part 15 Rules using CISPR 22 or ANSI 63.4 test procedures. FCC Part 15 approval is required for the legal marketing in the USA of devices such as low power transmitters, spread-spectrum transmitters, personal computer peripherals, IT Equipment, and other digital devices.

In addition to the EMI testing, EMCT also provides the complete FCC approval service from report preparation to the submission of the FCC forms, technical documentation and liaison with the FCC.
This latest development complements EMCT's comprehensive NATA accredited EMC testing to C-tick and CE emission and immunity requirements.
