Radio Frequency & Audio Frequency

In the areas of radio frequency and audio frequency we offer:

Full RF measurement capability from 150 kHz to 1.3 GHz, including:
- frequency to ( 5 X 10 –11 (Rubidium Beam))
- RF power to 1 kW
- Adjacent channel power
- Spectrum analysis to 100 Hz to 26 GHz
- SINAD or signal/noise ratios
- Adjacent channel selectivity
- Intermodulation (2 and 3-signal)
- Blocking
- Noise floor
- Cross modulation
- Co-channel rejection
- Transient performance
Measurement capability to 22 GHz for many of the above parameters
AM + FM modulation measurement capability
Climatic testing from –30C to +70C

At this time EN61000-4-3 (full compliance radiated immunity) for the CE requirements are not offered, however the project can be handled from the Auckland laboratory and the equipment sent to either EMCT's Sydney or Melbourne NATA accredited facilities.

Equipment is calibrated annually to internationally traceable standards.

Open Area Test Site (OATS) Facilities

The Open Area Test Site is located on the coast Road to Thames, at Orere Point. The site offers the following facilities:-

The OATS test lab has mains power and telephone. A microwave oven and coffee and tea facilities are provided.

Access for big trucks transporting large equipment is via sealed roads.
