View microsoft word document with photographs After an intensive assessment by NATA, EMC Technologies Pty Ltd was recently accredited for testing against FCC Part 15 Regulations of the USA. This has been facilitated by NATA’s MRA partners in the USA, NVLAP and A2LA. The MRA allows for FCC recognition of NATA reports to FCC Part 15 and ANSI C63.4. The new accreditation covers most FCC Part 15 devices. EMC Technologies’ NATA endorsed FCC tests can now be used to authorise electronic devices to FCC Part 15 Rules without the lengthy, tedious requirements to submit test reports and technical documentation to the FCC. The certification process whereby the FCC issues an FCC ID number to each device is no longer necessary if using the FCC DoC accredited testing route.
