SAR Accreditations:


EMC Technologies Pty. Ltd. is accredited by the National Association of Testing Authorities (NATA), Australia.   NATA has mutual recognition agreements (MRA) with over 30 similar accreditation bodies around the world including NVLAP, A2LA, UKAS, DaTech.   The MRA facilitates acceptance and recognition of NATA endorsed reports in most countries.

A NATA endorsed reports means that you only need test once and your product can be sold in global markets.

EMC Technologies Pty Ltd is NATA accredited for  a wide range of EMC, EMR, SAR and Safety standards.

EMR-SAR  Testing accreditations include;

RF and microwave radiation hazard measurement Measurement of electromagnetic fields in accordance with AS 2772.2 and EMC Technologies TP2772 Revision 2.x for compliance with ARPANSA Radiation Protection Standard (RPS No.3)  and AS/NZS 2772.1 (Int):1998; (now obsolete)

-Broadband measurements of E-fields in the range 100 kHz to 45.5 GHz. 

-Broadband measurements of H-fields in the range 100 kHz to 1 GHz

-Narrowband measurements of E-fields in the range 9 kHz to 40 GHz with least uncertainties of measurement of  ±3 dB: this scope is unique in Australia!

SAR Testing

ACA Radio communications (Electromagnetic Radiation - Human Exposure) Standard 2003.  Schedules 1 and 2. Both SAR and Field Strength , this scope is unique in Australia!

FCC Guidelines for Human Exposure to RF Electromagnetic Field: 1997    OET65C 01/01.  Covers SAR certification requirements for all products.
CENELEC  ES59005: 1998  Considerations for the evaluation of human exposure to electromagnetic fields (EMFs) from mobile telecommunication equipment (MTE) in the frequency range 30 MHz - 6 GHz    (now obsolete)
EN 50360: 2001  Product standard to demonstrate the compliance of mobile phones with the basic restrictions related to human exposure to electromagnetic fields (300 MHz – 3 GHz)
EN 50361: 2001  Basic standard for the measurement of Specific Absorption Rate related to human exposure to electromagnetic fields from mobile phones (300MHz – 3GHz)
IEEE 1528: 2003  Recommended Practice for Determining the Peak Spatial-Average Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) in the Human Head Due to Wireless Communications Devices: Measurement Techniques.
