EMC Technologies SAR Laboratory
EMC Technologies has been conducting SAR tests since 1999, and has
constantly updated the facilities. The “state-of-the-art” DASY4 SAR
test equipment has measurement capability from 30 MHz to 6 GHz.
Facilities include:
- State-of-the-art DASY4 system, NATA accredited, fully
complies with ACA, FCC and EN standards
- Two SAM phantoms allow efficient SAR testing for both Head and Body
tissue, or for two frequency bands, without the delays caused by the
need to change tissue-simulating liquid.
- Reference phantoms for fully compliant system calibration and
validation
- 2 Large flat phantoms for SAR testing of large devices such as
laptop computers with WLAN transmitters, or large handheld
transceivers.
- Whole body phantom for HF/VHF frequencies, R&D
- A range of SAR Probes, tissue simulating liquids and validation
dipoles to cover the frequency range from 30 MHz to 5.8 GHz
- Experienced in engineering R&D and SAR problem solving.
