The Year 2000 will bring a number of important changes to regulatory compliance requirements for imported or exported electrical/electronic products. Areas include EMC Framework, Electrical Safety, Telecoms and EMR for Mobile, Cordless phones and base stations. The new requirements for ITE under CISPR22:1997 will have a major impact on your designs. A range of basic EMC standards have been adopted by Standards Australia.
