ARPANSA EMR - SAR testing Exemption Calculator

ARPANSA Alternative Limit Calculator

This calculator allows easy to determine the EIRP at a set distance from the transmitter antenna, to allow an exclusion from further EMR assessment as per ARPANSA Radio Protection Standard (RPS3). The calculation as per section 5.4 “Alternative low-power exclusion levels” may be used to calculate threshold power levels for wireless devices used close to the body and operating at frequencies from 30 MHz to 6 GHz.

ARPANSA ARPANSA – AS 2772.2 Calculator

This calculator allows the determination of the safe distance for the public for transmitters. If the maximum combined EiRP is over 20mW exceed the alternative limits and is used further than 20cm of the body (head, neck and torso).
