About
EMC Technologies certification services
EMC Technologies can arrange international certifications for your products through our extensive international approvals network. We specialise in FCC (USA) and ISED (Canada) certification of radio transceivers and product approvals for South Africa (ICASA) and EU member countries (CE Notified Body).
We have arranged over 90% of all Australian-based FCC certifications, according to the FCC database. We have dedicated certification consultants with over 20 years of experience and regularly attend international conferences, workshops, and symposiums to ensure we stay on top of the testing and certification game.
Given the increasing complexity of international approvals, we highly recommend considering our expert certification services. An experienced team can help reduce lead time to market along with taking the stress out of the process.
About
The most common regional certifications
FCC Certification – United States of America
Intentional RF transmitters must be certified by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) or a designated Telecommunication Certification Body (TCB). EMC Technologies has established links with accredited TCB’s in the USA and can arrange all mandatory FCC Certification activities. The process involves submission of FCC Part 15C radiocommunications test reports (such as FCC Part 15.247), EMR human exposure assessments or reports (MPE) plus various paperwork including user manuals, schematic diagrams, application forms, block diagrams, and labeling. Once the product is certified an FCC ID will be generated, an FCC grant issued, and the product will be listed in the public FCC database.
ISED Certification – Canada
Intentional RF transmitters must be certified by ISED (Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada) or a designated Telecommunication Certification Body (TCB). EMC Technologies has established links with accredited TCB’s in the USA and can arrange all mandatory ISED Certification activities. The process involves submission of FCC or Canadian RSS radiocommunications test reports (such as RSS-247), EMR human exposure assessments or reports plus various paperwork including user manuals, schematic diagrams, application forms, block diagrams, and labeling. Once the product is certified an ISED number will be generated, an ISED grant issued, and the product will be listed in the public Radio Equipment List (REL) database.
We can also arrange approvals through our international partner network for many other markets and countries
